I seem to be seeing more and more motorhomes or RV's on I-70 than ever, despite gas prices and their hefty price tags. Seems to me that a "Grassroots Motorhome" made of an old school bus (or something else) would be an interesting article. Anyone else?

Seriously, do you really want one of those parked outside your house year round?

If I were still single, I'd use it for a house.

GRM did run a series of articles on motorhomes a number of years ago. As I recall, they showed how going cheap isn't always the best idea...Tim and Margie picked up a 'classic' motorhome and fixed it up, but it turned into something of a maintenance nightmare so they ultimately upgraded to a late model motorhome.

so goes the saying of "there is nothing more exspensive than a cheap (boat/porsce/ext...)"
