what he said....cheap, effective, and adjustable.. on the monza style tips above, ive got that tip on my 924, it will give a nice throaty sound, but it wont make things any quieter..

Possibly check your local motorcycle wreckers. Stock mufflers off a dumped bike should be cheap. No only that, they are LIGHT! Brother in Law picked up an 01 GSXR 750 carcass (sans engine) to throw the forks and rear swingarm onto his bike. I got the throttle bodies, and I have so far kept the muffler. 2.25 inlet, and really light. Pretty sure it's around 5 lbs, I'll weight it later...
