Anyone looking to travel in Missouri needs to check out Hwy 19. It is an awsome drivers road! I drove the section between Winona and Salem, both directions, in a Ford Fusion and had a great time! I'd love to plan a trip to run the entire length in a car that REAALLY handles. Beautiful scenery, awesome curves, straights, and hills, not much traffic. A great drive!

19 is fantastic. Since you are in the area, you might also enjoy Route 42 between Belle and Vienna, as well as route 95 South of Mountain Grove towards Gainesville. Southern Missouri is one of my favorite places in the world.
