Two colors would have quadripled the price.

WTF is a quadriple? Stay on the ball, tiger.

    quad x tripled = quadripled. 12x.

    Duh.

It's the quantity that's killing you. Unless you order thousands, it's just crazy expensive.

correct. The maker has to spread the price of the die over each piece, Amortization is a killer.

Die cut stickers of my own (not GRM ones )

I got a quote for 200 single color 3"x8" for something stupid like $1300. Not a fancy logo, just text.

I have similar quantities and size cut at a local sign shop for ~ $.60 / Ea.

I didn't realize they were actually making a die, I thought they were done on some kind of a fancy "razor" printer. Just curious if there was some wicked cheap place for die cut vinyl similar to Queensboro for embroidery and screen printing.

You are correct, its all done on a plotter with a cutter head these days, no actual dies. Its labor intensive, not so much in the cutting but in the "weeding" (removing the negative space vinyl after the cut) and applying the application tape to each one.

I sent you a PM. I do small batch runs for local racers and organizations, maybe I can help you out ($1300 is insane by the way unless you have some bizzare request you arent telling us about)

Will there be a full compliment of store items available for purchase at the Challenge? That would save shipping cost.

Yeah, we'll have the whole lemonade stand set up at the Challenge.

As the manufacturer is all tuned up to punch out the stickers may I suggest something. Not everyone is willing to put a sticky thing on their paint, BUT if the sticker manufacturer made up a few out of 3M reflective blue or red material, I'm sure those of us with trailers would love to have stylish reflectors.

You have the dies, even if the material is $1 more, I'll bet they sell.

As Nashco said, die cut stickers look great on windows. That's where I plan to adhere mine.

Irregardless, that is supposably a word.

and you don't adhere stickers to something, you stick them, that's why they call them stickers. sheesh.

That would look great on the TR7 Spider too... matching the pinstripe & lettering.

Red reflective and white reflective would be VERY cool.
