    Yep... know that one. Just put new brakes, tires and a clutch in my BoxsterS. I consider it helping the local economy.

    $30k for a Maserati Spyder? I'm going to have to do a lot of things I won't be proud of to get that kind of money by next week, but it will be worth it.

    How in the hell is a $100k+ BMW M6 (or M5 for that matter) "grassroots-ish???"

    I'd say LS1 FC or FD RX-7. Giant killer for $10-$30k.

    Hey, I didn't say I agreed with 'em. They measure the performance of a car strictly by 1/4 mile times.... I can't count the number of times I've posted "If you bought an X to drag race it, you missed the point".
