Sorry if this sounds like a noob question. I just bought a pair of GRM number panels for my Miata, mainly for autocross. My question is, are these panels permanent or can I take them on and off like the numbers that I have (i.e. can I put it on for an event and then take it off before I leave the event)? Thanks all.

They are basically giant stickers. You can attach them to magnetic material, however.

Where can I buy magnetic sheet thick and adhesive enough for these number panels? I tried the magnetic sheet you can get at craft store like Michaels for numbers but it's not adhesive enough so it didn't stick too well to the car. Thanks for the input.

Try a sign shop like ones with the names "Same Day" or "Next Day" Sign Company. They typically have the sheet magnet you are looking for.

Thinner is better....my magnetic number signs too thick, and if the weather is even slightly cool in the morning, I need to put them on the hood to let the engine heat soften them up enough to follow the contours of the door skins.
