I was just watching HDnets Why We Race: The Mustang Challenge and there was a pretty prominent GRM appearance. One of the Mustangs (one of the mostly white cars, not sure what team) has large GRM stickers on the rear quarters and a big one on the hood.

Not sure what team it was but the car was running mid rear in the first race (Road Atlanta), not sure if it finished. There was a full screen shot of it when they were showing the practice at Road Atlanta.

    What's the story?

That was J.G. at the Mitty race. There was editorial on that eariler this year.

Hmmm, OK I figured I missed something, but I thought you guys might like to know you got a pretty good "on screen" moment.

BTW - They also showed the second race (in Mosport Canada) and it appeared as if the car was not there, of course there was pretty heavy carnage during those races and there seemed to be a lot fewer cars in the second race.

The car I drove was the "media car." They'd sticker it up and put a different guest in it at each race. I ran the opener at Road Atlanta, started 12th and finished 10th. If you watch the show again you'll see the shot where the black car of Andrew Hendricks spins and whacks the inside wall in turn 7. I was the car right in front of him. Got a good view of it in my mirror.

Which is highly preferred to seeing it out the windshield!

Hey, yah, now that looks familiar! I guess I did miss something pretty obvious!

The show is pretty good BTW. A LOT of carnage so far, I am guessing because many of the drivers don't have a lot of experience?

It is kind of funny to hear them talk about how "affordable" the series is, you know only about $250,000 to run the series. Affordable to some I guess... at least to magazine tycoons that can afford BMW 335i's!
