    an LS1 with a 930 Tranny weighs less then a 3.6 with a G50

    So what's happened to this? I've had a Boxster since 1998. Loved the car, but it didn't have the power of my former Porsches, a 1990 C4 Cab. So I put a supercharger in it. Certainly helped. Gave it a nice and need bump of torque. But after a year or so I wanted more. So I found a 996 3.4L and put that in the car. Okay, probably less torque down low, but more power above 4k. Still, I long for something along the lines of a small block Chevy. LS7 would be perfect.

    So, again - what has happened with this project? Can someone reveal who is doing it? Thanks!
