We rolled out a ton of new code this morning. Hopefully that went more or less unnoticed. I'm not seeing any problems other than some occasional display weirdness from a cached stylesheet. I'm trying to track that down.

    Here's what you get:

Speed and stability should both be improved.

New "Share and Save" boxes around the site that make it really easy to add content to your watchlist, save it to social bookmarking sites (Del.icio.us, stumbleupon, facebook, whatever), or send it to a friend. Also, when you add a forum topic, project car or reader ride to your watchlist, you can now get email when it's updated (turn the preference on in your profile).

All new classifieds section. You can now run your classified both online AND in the magazine, and unlike the Marketplace it's fully integrated with the rest of the site. In other words, your regular login works there, too. Just for fun, we threw in maps, "tell a friend", and those sorts of things, too.

Clubs section has a revamped layout for better usability. Better maps, too.

Events now let you add yourself to a list of people attending.

Forum: Ya'll are going to like this.

    • Post formatting controls should now work better in IE6.
    • We've added basic BBCode support for post formatting
    • We fixed the tab order, so if you like to tab from the post box to the "add post" button, it now does what you expect
    • And, as mentioned earlier, emails for watched topics

Big revamp of the store to make it easier to use.

I've still got a little mopping up to do here and there. If you spot a problem, drop me an email.

Just got a proxy server error when trying to go to page 2 of latest topics.

Also, latest topics doesn't have the new post indicator anymore. Is that on purpose?

Proxy error was probably me restarting the server.

Latest topics is PROBABLY just some funkiness with the cookie, but I'll check into that.

I am getting a giant white space at the top of the pages. So much white space that it seem the forum is not there. I have to scroll down an an entire page to see the forums.

    Windows XP IE v6.0 1024 x 768

All looks good from here, Tim! Well, almost all. There are no read/unread indicators on the tops in Latest Topics, but that's probably temporary.

    and hitting alt..enter

JRW, IE6 should be looking alot better for you now.

I THINK the missing new posts thing is related to cookies. Mine have come back now.

I deleted cookies and reloaded the page. All looks good now. Thanks for the fix.

Wow...the site is totally blown up for me at the moment in Firefox. Style sheet issue perhaps?

Maybe. Unlikely, but maybe. Is your URL funky? Force reload.
