Well, it's a refreshingly honest writeup...

In a decade Mazda will copy it. In another decade after that a web forum's obession with the Mazda copy will annoy the hell out of forzav12's son.

We're already well down that road.

Love it for the pure silly factor. It reminds me of a rusted out 3.0 CSI I drove by. Nobody would consider trying to restore it due to the level of decay. But I seriously considered ripping out the mechanicals injecting a bunch of bondo and fiberglass, and sticking in a SBC with big, fat scoop. I think the local BMW club would be throwing bricks through my window!

Or off that road, in this case.

    Oooh, it's still Challenge-priced!

I've always wondered - in an autocross, what happens if you straddle a cone without knocking it over? ie, two wheels around the outside (off course) and two wheels on the inside (on course). Just think, the 4x4 MG could probably straight-line a slalom...

    I'd rather have a Spitfire...

1965, eh? I don't think I've ever heard of anyone actually installing rubber bumpers...

Yes, that title doesn't quite match the interior and body. But I suspect most people would have other concerns first.

Love the fact that there are TWO Spits in the previous picture. Someone has a real problem.

Keith, that's the real reason they don't allow 4x4's to autocross. It has nothing to do with a high center of gravity. It's just scoring complications.
