When my car was imported someone decided it had to have a seat belt warning light. They used a relay and a timer. Well apparently when the car gets nice and warm after a good drive the timer circuit board or relay shorts and the relay goes off like a buzzer when you restart the car. I might be pulling this mess out.

I should probably know this already, but can someone explain what CAN, or CAN-BUS stands for? And what it does?

Not 100% electrical, but our 2010 Grand Caravan (with the brand new "no key" key will randomly turn off while you're driving. There's a recall, and they promise they're going to fix it sometime in the next month or two.

(Thanks, last Chrysler I'll ever own)
