    Very understated.

Impressive, but man that video was underwhelming. After all that idling they end it that way?

Probably didn't want you to see the trees dying as it passed.

Crazy loud. Reminds me of my days standing by Top Fuel cars at Indy.

What's with the bonnet attached to the valve covers (if I'm seeing that correctly)?

    42 liter = 2 562.997 252 cubic inch or more than 7 SBCs!

I'm sure it's a lot of fun down the straights!

In reply to RossD: More like a straight inline 12. I know they made i8 engines back when but not i12's.

I got a headache from the fumes just watching this.

It always amazes me what our pioneers have created in the past.

You don’t measure consumption for that thing in miles per gallon, or even gallons per mile, I think it’s dead bunnies and trees per mile 

Ha, 300 rpm, lay into the throttle, and accelerate! 300 is about 200 below stall for any modern car, let alone the berkeleying torque curve.

I think it runs off baby seals, whale blubber, and polar bear meat. Global Warming is for Bob Costas.

In all seriousness, it's probably gallons per hour.

Reminds me of standing on the wing of a P-51 while a student runs up the engine. Raises hell with your hearing.
