Interesting but you're right - fail on the flares. 1.9 upgrade? Think he means 1.8? Might be doable if cheaper. Looks like chopping off those flares shouldn't be to hard. That, a new top and get running.

Mariner blue and a C package make that worth saving. I'd buy it and drag it home if I had the time and garage space.

'90 with a repaint and a tan interior later swapped in makes it not that desirable...not to mention the bad flairs and bad top.

Looks to me like the flairs make tire removal difficult.

I can't even guess what he did there. It's almost like the wing-ends of a plane were grafted on there.

It's very "pin the tail on the donkey" looking.

Without those spare automotive chromosomes on there, it would be a nice-looking Miata.
