I pale to your backyard awesomeness; I only have 4 vans, 4 Neons, and a Duster.

9 seems aplenty to me, and I wouldn't mind unloading some of those.

Assuming all of aussiesmg's are street legal that would be $1,092 every two years in registration alone! Assuming the stickers were renewed in a timely fashion...it's another $280 if they're all late! Then there's insurance, maintenance, oil changes...

What kind of business do you own and how can I hop on this gravy train!?

Only 3 here, and only 2 are mine. John has another 3 and 1 is usually hanging out here since I have parking for 5-6. I usually have at least 3 cars and it's been really hard on me to only own two for so long because I've been accustomed to at least one "long term project" to fiddle with.

As soon as I find the right AMC project for my 401 that I've had longer then my house I'll make it 3 for me again, plus her Grand Prix.

We do always seem to have a lot of motorized "toys" though. The electric road-legal scooter has been the best buy ever.

when you can't afford/mooch/beg a place to park any more of them, then add 1. thats enough cars. of course, you'll always have to be driving one of them at any given time, but thats not a problem

We're down to 10. It felt good sending what little was left of #11 to the crusher. Of what we have now, getting down to 9 would be about ideal. I can manage 9. Barely.

    GregTivo's Volare sounds interesting though...

Fortunately, I have plenty of friends who are "enablers" and not much of my stuff "hangs around" at the house long enough to upset either my wife or my neighbors...

It helps to have a semi-retired heavy equipment salvage service owner as a good friend. I've had 6 of my cars parked in ONE of the bays in his large facility. I usually keep my trailer there too.

I have parking for 7 cars at my house, but usually only have 4 or 5 at the most with the rest scattered between the yard, the body shop, my shop and the gated/guarded underground parking garage at my office... ;)

    Daily Drivers:

'99 Honda Civic EX (VTEC is like turbo yo!)

'00 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport - Family Hauler

    Special Purpose:

'99 Dodge Durango - Every GRM'r needs a tow vehicle!

'94 Ford Ranger - Parts hauler

    Show Cars:

    '09 Nissan 370Z Base 6MT w/Sport Package

    '72 Datsun 240Z Powered by a Skyline RB26DETT

'82 Nissan 280ZX JCR Blow Thru-Turbo Mikuni Powered

    Project Cars:

'72 Datsun 2.8L MSnS ITB Powered 240Z (about to be powered by a Skyline RB25DET)

'72 Datsun Veggie Powered Turbo Diesel 240Z

'83 Nissan 280ZX Turbo 2+2 AutoTragic driveline donor

    Race Cars:

'72 Datsun 2.9L 52mm SU Powered 240Z ITS Race Car

'83 Nissan 280ZX 24hrs of LeMons endurance racer & 2009 West Coast Challenge entry

I'm currently on the lookout for a P71 in all black with working spot lights and push bumper.

And I really need to retire the Durango and replace it with a turbo diesel of some flavor, currently favoring the Dodge Cummins or Ford 7.3L then sell my steel car hauler and replace it with a nice aluminum light weight enclosed one.

If the question were how many Miatas is too many, I'd have said 26. 26 Miatas would be overkill.
