Recently purchased a Toyota Paseo as a beater/daily for my girlfriend. In driving it home, the car started to overheat and when (finally) cooled, took about 3/4 of a gallon of water/coolant.
Obviously I have to wonder where that coolant went, as there was no apparent coolant in the oil or oil in the coolant. Tailpipe did not appear steam cleaned ... do the water pumps in these motors leak when they fail? How likely is the head to warp if overheated?
