wawa coffee. the MKIV jetta had that nice cup holder right in front of the console, pretty much blocked everything but the shifter. Those damn wawa lids are engineered perfectly to drip hot coffee on your hand, then when you try to grab the cup it spews more coffee vertically, I was constantly cleaning the boot and console area, I think my radio buttons were gummy till I sold the car.

+100 on gear oil made the mistake of using my moms then new subaru waggon once for a junk yard run that car stanck every day it got over 70F....she still bitches at me about it and that was 4 cars ago...

The ultimate stench for me was half a pound of squid fish bait forgotten in the trunk of my '73 Riviera, in the Florida sun. The smell never went away.

Not long after I bought the stang I was halfway home from the grocery store when the trunk suddenly pops up. All the warnings go ding. WTF? Apparently a gallon of milk in a plastic bag tried to escape by pulling the federally-mandated interior trunk release handle in a high-G turn. This happened to me twice before I tucked the handle inside the trunk trim. Luckily I avoided milk explosions, although I did drop a gallon paint can in the back seat of a Honda I owned. No cleanin' that.
