No Eminen, it's German. Since I caught Mrs. 914 in a pliable mood, I bought four of these 18" wheels, some rubberbands and Eibach springs.
I've had the car three weeks but the weather is so crappy I only got to drive it from the Stealership to home.

Sorry, it's dusk and a crappy day for photos, but here it is. Like Jettas or not, you just can't argue with the way it sets.
Inline 5 runs on pump gas, schtick, cruise, sporty springs, what's not to like?
I'm happy. Someday when I actually put miles on it I will be estatic!

Actually, those 18's are cheap (in a good way) and light since they are cast.

That was mine at one point, at that time it was my sisters. In fact, that was my first official registered and insured under my own name vehicle.
