But I do like the new LMPC class.

The world doesn't need another look alike Porsche class that is exciting as watching paint dry, but the new LMPC class looks like it could develop into something nice.

I am guessing it's a sealed stock Vette engine in the nice new trick body running spec tires. It's better looking than the Daytona prototype, but I appreciate the versatility of the different powertrains in the Daytona prototypes.

I agree...however, the prototypes this year have been a snooze fest.

Well I'll agree that there hasn't been any drama so far, but that's really good for them.

I'm dvr-ing it and watching it in spurts. Fast forwarding thru the less dramatic moments so that I can keep TV harmony with the rest of the family. I am just about dusk right now and about to go back to watching.

I love Sebring so much more than Daytona and I'm used to having a larger variety of cars at Sebring, but somehow Sebring has a smaller variety of cars than did Rolex this year. When did that all change?

carguy, it changed when the world's economy tried to go belly-up.

As far as the GTCs go, it looked (and the guys on Radio LeMans also noticed) that they honk like mad in a straight line, but limp around corners compared to a GT2 car.

Also noticed the first two or three in class were prepared by Alex Job racing. Hate it that they had to get out of GT2, but stoked that they still do good work.

Unless the economy gets better, we live in an age of reduced expectations..

I love variety and I love to watch the cars I can drive or can see on the streets. For me Rolex and Sebring are about the GT cars, unfortunately the announcers don't give them much air time. I'm definitely a proponent of race on Sunday and sell on Monday.

it is kinda sad that drivers like Andy Lally are stuck driving challenge cars...what happened to the economy?
