No no no no no!
The fact that those are for sale for human-scale money is causing me to a physical reaction that feels like panic because I'm not aquiring one...

I am trying to figure out when I am going to do this as well. Because I am going to do a Class 11 Bug, a Moto Guzzi cafe racer and rotary powered Cricket at some point and I have the Spitfire and Yamaha to finish.

The cab is great, but the bed is horrible. It shouldn't be that hard to come up with a more vintage looking bed for that thing!!

On the school bus line of thinking...
Not only can they be had for low money, after you yank the parts you want the rest can be scrapped to help recoup a large portion of your investment.
Winning!

If you do- that low bed yellow one techguy posted would be a nice way to move all of those toys around.

The bed on that grey one is too square and new for the cab. On my 1952 it's just sheet metal with bends up top and tubing welded on. The fenders are bolted on, in fact the whole thing is just nuts & bolts and three panels.
Make one easier/cheaper than that grey one.
I took this shot to show off the LEDs in the bed rail.

Wonder what it would take to make your own ramp truck, if you already had an 8ft bed pick up(dually)? Need ~15 feet or so for the bed. How much overhang can you get away with?
