So since my mind never turns off and thoughts morph from idea to idea throughout a really random series of inaction I do not know how to judge the idea I just had.

I was talking to ken83gti and mentioned that if VW removed all the extra wiring from the cars they would weigh 1300lbs and run 12.85s and get 70mpg... then my mind kicked into gear...

Can a Megasquirt system be modified to go wireless? Think about pulling up your profiles in the dyno or at the track without the computer leaving the desk and without risking tripping over the wire. Moreover it could be used for on the fly adjustments and datalogging in the pits.

Is this a good idea or did I jump the shark?

Interesting thought. But I think I would rather just skip lunch and call it even. ;)
