That was the third time I'd ever driven a car, my dad thought it would be good practice. I took the turn at (literally) 7 mph. Caused $900 damage to his half-year-old Civic. Hondas are E36 M3 in the snow.

Oh ouch :( I was mainly joshing you, I'd like to think that my talent on snow and ice is probably above 99% of the US and Canada combined. I love Honda's in snow! Better with a LSD in the front though.

Oh I know you were, it was a total berkeley up on my part. Sure taught me that understeer sucks! And the mantra of "never run out of traction, real estate, or ideas all at once." I would like to think that I'm in the top 1 percentile of driving ability too...but I'm sure 99% of all people think they're in the top 1 percentile.

That little tap on the right from wheel from the curb ruined a control arm, bent the strut housing (!!!!!???), as well as completely trashing the wheel. Luckily, it was a steelie and was cheap, but the car was so new (it was a 2001, first year for the 7th gen EM Civics) the dealer didn't have parts for it. They had to overnight them from Japan.

Sorry, couldn't resist throwing that F&F reference in there.
