I'm a big fan of 356's...and of 356 Outlaws. That said, I couldn't have conjured up this swap....even with my warped mind.

Everyone should have a V-8 on a pallet just waiting for the right recipient.

Does a big block Ford on an engine stand in your dining room count?

I always wondered how a Powertec RPA or the H1V8 would do in a 356 replica body, especially if you turned the transaxle around to mount the engine in the middle... it would certainly sound good, especially once the revs started to climb a bit

Very cool, we just used one of those at work (construction) this past Monday. They're not cheap - a decent one from Trimble or Lecia with associated software and training for 2-4 people is ~$150-200k! I know because I've priced them for one of our VP's. Needless to say in this economy we're hiring it out, for now at least.

And only on here, has someone always wondered that
I like it! Definitely a case of 'so wrong, it's right'.
