Only issue I'm aware of with those is on the auto-locking hubs, if so equipped. Buddy had one that was a total beater, great truck other than the 4x4 didn't work because of the aforementioned hub issue.

I swapped mine to manuals for like $40 using brand new parts.

My Suburban was also swapped from auto to manual hubs.

Well, I figured out what I want to do with this thing. I think I'm going to remove the trim and badges, knock off, grind off or sand off all the rust I can. Prime it, paint it olive green, and paint the badges and wheels black. Put the badges back on, and add a nice Ram's head hood ornament. How's that for original? Not. Oh well, its what I'm doing. Should be ready for the second turkey season of the year.

I also picked up some new hydraulic struts for the rear hatch. They were around $15 a piece. Nice. No more broom handle.

    $400? Thief!

    It looks like a blast

    I had a 80 Dodge 3/4 Powerwagon 360. It got about 11-12mpg. I added headers and an Edelbrock carb/intake and got 14.

    Friend had a 76 Plymouth Trailduster that went 250K on a 318
