BTW, the Chrysler FWD 2.2/2.5 and Neon transmissions use the same splines on the inner CV joints as used on the Fiat. So you'd just need to put the appropriate Chrysler CV inner CV joints on your Fiat axles and the rest is just engine swap stuff.
I gave up on my swap, but from what I remember the issues I saw were the water pump hitting the frame (section it or use an electric pump)
The driver's frame rail would need to be moved upwards to allow the transmission to sit high enough.
To use the better intake, you'd need to cut out the rear rail (and replace it with a new piece of steel) If you use a DOHC head or a old style intake it should fit under the stock rear rail.
A pull-type clutch slave cylinder will take care of the clutch.
