I'd still get the base model with the Grand Sport package. This one is awesome but it's waay more car than I need.

I'm in the base model plus gran sport boat as well though.
I grew up on CRX's and Miata's... The tq in my 328i still blows my mind. I'll be more then happy with ~425hp

The C6's headlights didn't really sit well with me. It's not that they're exposed, just the overall look. But they're slowly growing on me. I hated the fourth-gen Camaro's headlights when its mild redesign debuted for 1998, but it grew on me too.
I'd really love an older Viper GTS, but as a more exclusive car, some of its repair bills could scare me off. Heck, they've already built 25.6k Z06s alone. That's, what, roughly two and a half times the number of Viper GTS's they made? I just hope those Vettes keep right on depreciating. $50k is still a bit much for a used one. I know that Edmunds and KBB aren't the be-all end-all of real-world car values (Mk IV Supra or Defender, anyone), but they're saying 37k for an '06 Z06.
While we're on the subject, does any company make a replacement steering rack/assembly for the C6? I've seen plenty for earlier models, but not for the C6.
