Feel better soon doc, ice and pain meds will be your friend for the thumb for a while. It sucks right now but you will be excited when you find the next right car.
Buddy of mine was driving and we rear ended a car. A little person was in the passenger seat. He got out and ran,, well waddled up to us. First words out of his mouth was I'm not happy... Awkward silence followed by my buddy saying "well which one are you then". Hope you don't feel much worse than you already do in the coming days.
I think my first words to the young man were "You dumb berkeley!!!"
damn... earlier today I was out and heard that "oh berkeley" sound of screeching tires behind me... no one hit me... but it always unnerves me
lacerated head, broken, or sprained thumb... sore back and neck... I hope you are truly fine... these last two things can take a while to develop into more so be VERY careful over the next 3 to 10 days....
Not saying anything about your recompense... but a friend was rear ended in his AE86 bad enough to crush the trunk down to the ground... managed to get enough for a nice EVO 10.... an Exige should be no issue if you want it....
