I have 05 outback 2.5 xt like it with the exception of 2 things Fuel economy if your into the turbo will be worse than a modern f-150 my wife the main driver w out me harrasing her will regularly get in the 15-17 range for fuel mileage on a trip and driving like granny I can eeck out 22-23 but no hard acceleration and nothing above 72 mph the F.I. system on the turbo subies goes to wide open fueling above 74 mph so you really have to watch your speed. 2nd thing the rear suspension is so soft I am jealous of 1983 oldsmobile delta 88's for having a stiffer rear suspension than me! I do not know if this relates to all legacy chassis vehicles but it really sucks and destroys a really great car and makes it tolerable for the enthusiast just barely.

I never, never, never thought I'd have anything but loathing for the ugly yellow faux-truck. However, I've been looking around for something to replace my F-150, and while I understand it's NOT a truck, it seems to be a nice compromise. Oh, and they come in other colors, too. Who knew?

I mean, I love the truck bed. Something cool on the side of the road? Whammo, it's mine! I don't like a truck's size, fuel economy, and lack of sport.

The Baja comes in a 2.5L turbo 5-speed option, and with a 2k tow rating, can tow enough for a motorcycle/small boat/whatever.

I don't even know who you are anymore.

I've been thinking of the Baja on and off since it was introduced. My issue is that the back seat is to small.

If you don't want the truck bed or the largess of the Legacy, forget not that the Forester comes in turbo'd goodness XT version.

Hurrrumf. Back to the Legacy GT wagon or Forester XT, then.

I'll leave a light on for you, Baja...

I've never really looked at Bajas before, man they look 100x better in monochrome colors...

selected Google Image results: The wheels aren't my cup of tea but I like the color.

    Why not a Mazdaspeed 3?

Utilitarian, gets great reviews (especially with this group) and uber-fast.
