    Hey guys,

I just found a couple of interesting cars that I may be interested in. One is a 79,but in Australia, and the other is a 69,and in Canada. The Aussie car is much nicer, but the cost of getting it here may be prohibitive. The Canadian car is a bit of a project I suppose, but much closer to home. Either way they need to be imported. How,and how much will it cost to get these cars leagally imported, and is it something I can do basically alone,or will I need help from someone at the port of entry as an agent of some sort? Any help would be appreciated.

    Chris

Chris, What and where in Oz, I seem to have some convict relations over there. I might be persuaded to share a container even.

Since both cars are more than 25 years old, the actual importation to the US should be simple. Your main costs will be transportation.

Where do you want the Kamloops car delivered to? ( I am heading to Portland with an empty berth on an enclosed trailer.)

Is it as easy as trailering it over the border rodrammage? If so then I suppose I could get it delivered to a GRM'r that is sympathetic to the cause, and then get it shipped from there.
