Yep, that's mine folks. Looking for an older hot rod project. Always wanted to drop a big block chevy into something. Testing the waters to see what bites. If the right deal doesn't come along, I will just keep it and think of some other projects, converting back to fuel injection, etc.. I am suffering withdrawal pains from not having a major car project since the challenge

I have done a little more to it (mostly just cleaning up some details and putting the interior back together) since the challenge. I did 'grassroots' a speedometer. Found a Red Lion, industrial digital rate indicator off of Ebay for $20. Ran a two conductor shielded cable from the speed sensor in the trans tailshaft (40 tooth gear-magnetic pickup) and calibrated it following my wife up and down the road in her car. She thinks I am a nut. I tried using the sensor in the differential (stock BMW speed sensor on e30's), but couldn't keep a consistent signal.

Looking for another project and need to let something go to clear the space. Still contemplating another challenge project as well. Not sure yet if I will be able to do it next year though.

So basically... you're saying you wouldn't take cash for it.

Mater, you need to do a write up on the speedo, specifics, how to, pixxors etc.

THAT is GRM E36 M3 right there.

What kind of price are you looking for? I'm sure it's more than i can comfortably afford, but i can't help but ask.... that thing is more than awesome.

I don't need the nitrous, i have an extra kit here. :)

I am looking for a few million dollars, but I suspect I would have to add a little something else to the deal.

Honestly, I have struggled somewhat with that decision. I would be satisfied to get back what I have in it at this point. If someome here showed up at the house with $2,000 cash, they could take it home as it sits now. Not ready to go lower than that until I see what happens over the next week or so locally. I have one or two interested in trading, but not sure where that will go at this point. I am still seriously considering just keeping it as well.
