I think one of the endearing thing about the Opel GT is the roll-over headlights. Cable operated. Looks bug-eyed with them out but looks good stored. And all without electric or vacuum motors. Opel GT with headlights out Of course I am a bit biased.

I'm not sure this is a common opinion here, but I HATE the look of the non-popup light miatas. I would only buy a non-NA miata if it was a mazdaspeed miata.

My first 3 cars had popup headlights. I greatly miss them on everything else.

I have had three cars with pop ups.. 914, X1/9 and a scorpion... though, that was more a "tilt" up than a pop
