Hey, has anyone tried one of the iPhone apps that measures g-forces and 0-60 and such?

Some of them claim to do a lot of what my Traqmate does. I would really like to have one of these on my phone, but I don't want to buy 5 of them to find out which one works.

I downloaded PocketDyno cuz it's free. I'll see how that one works first off.

    You could try Dynolicious- http://www.dynolicious.com/

I think it is around $10. There is a video about it on youtube. Looks to be decent for drag racing, but the jury is still out on its usability for auto-x analysis- if determined good for auto-x, i'll be buying an iPhone.

These guys test out the Dynolicious app compared to a G-Tech. The Dynolicious seems pretty good. I think I might get it. It's only $13 anyway...

I used it during an autocross, its pretty accurate as far as I can tell. I was getting 1.3G in my miata on R-comps; about what I would have guessed. You only get max G's (braking, accel, and lateral) for a run, so you can't do any data logging. I thought it was neat to correlate my times to max G's though. If you already have an iphone/touch the $12.99 is worth it. I wouldn't go buy an iphone/touch for this app, however.

iPhone dynolicious matches GTech roadrace with 1.13G lateral on street tires in my miata.
