    Got a great idea, let's do away with definitions altogether for everything, since obviously definitions are subjective. Should make communicating soooo much easier. From no on, my MGB will be called a station wagon. Until next month when i decide that to me, it should be defined as a SUV. And the Range Rover is a sports car, 'cause it handles vastly better and is much quicker then the MGB.

    Yeah, that's the ticket. As Steve Martin asked, "may I mambo dogface to the banana patch?"

    Are you applying that doctor-recommended ointment to the correct orifice?

    Guys, I am not going to step into the morass (and who doesn't covet a liitle morass?) and proclaim my opinion of what rules should apply to what is, or is not a sports car.

    It is like a definition of what is pornography. I know it when I see it.

    I will simply state that a Mustang is not a sports car!

    Also, don't get hung up on the names of parts. Plenty of legendary handlers out there with live axle rears.

    See that cool looking Gold car just up and to the left of this sentance? Live axle.

    May recall that it, and previous versions of said car, were quite successful race cars, too....

    Yes I was thinking of 105-series Alfas when I said that.

    And for the rest of you, we all know the real reasons for the Fox-body (and SN-95) Mustangs handling failings, but to most of the unwashed, they look at a basic spec sheet and think they have the answer. To make matter worse, then they over-generalize to other cars.

    Mustang = Bad handling.
    Mustang = Live axle rear Live axle rear = Bad handling. (faulty conclusion)

    [fail]

    Looks more bronze to me.

    Technically, it's light metallic beige- at least that's the translation. But it's gold.
