    Finally!

    Only problems so far are low engine vacuum, a huge air bubble in the cooling system and valves that wont adjust properly. Not bad for a first start!

    I think need to machine some lash caps to get around the unavailable adjustment screws. Wonder if i can just do it by hand? Nah, probably best to get them done properly.

    Awesome! No idea on the lash caps, but at the 4:50 mark it sounds like the starer was just dis-engaging from the flywheel. Video trickery?

    Any way congrads, now I'm off to help my dad with his 944, were finishing up a clutch job...
