I found this at the local P&P cheep $$$$ all it needs is a door. I am so tempted a the rest of the car is in GREAT SHAPE!!!! This is by far my favorite of the XJ6's. I love the euro headlights. The car runs and drives fine. Not a rip tear or anything wrong with the interior. IT is barley broken in!!! I am so tempted

i hate to say it cause you're obviously excited, but if it's more than challenge money, it's more than i'd give.

Yea, you should be able to buy one of those that doesn't need a door for challenge money or damned close.

In New York they're not allowed to sell a whole car, Mass may be different.

Three asking 2499. It is close to challenge money. The rest of the car really is in great shape. New tires. Other than the door the paint is perfect. And the interior. It is flawless. It really is better than the photos show. Regarding the selling of cars at the P&P. This pick and pull has a used car / reparable section. Many need doors trans and motors. Some are complete running used cars. I have done been doing business at this place for years. It is legit.

Sounds like the car is quite nice apart from the door. I don't know how much you've looked at XJ6es in your neck of the woods, but at the other end of the country, my local CL has eight XJ6es for under 2k right now. Most of them probably aren't great, but it suggests that there should be some selection in that price range...

Parts prices on those are soul-crushing. I have one I really should just scrap, but when that thing was right it was everything I wanted in a sedan. I still want to turbo one...

Oh Man adding a turbo to this would be something!!!!. there is allot of space in these things so it should not be that big a deal. Since it is a 94 no OBD inspection / emissions. Ditch all the stock crazy engine management and go MS using OE ford and or GM MAF and sensors.
