Diesel has rot but was the runner other is solid as can be , Tan has dust on skin was in garage . $100 apiece

Is the diesel a 6.2L? The diesel should be able to get over 20 mpg easily.
If so check the damper. They fail over time and can cause a snapped crank. Depending on the mileage and the how long it sat, a new damper would be cheap insurance.
If you have questions about the diesel let me know. I've dealt with most of the issues you may run into onto a 6.2l of that vintage.
