I personally liked the other one that had the giganto-pizza-delivery-triangle on top, except with a picture of KJI on it...

    irish44j:

I just saw that car on the BBC-News, and agree, nothing says "World Leader on Board" like a giant portrait of said leader on top of a sinister-looking limo.

It strikes me as funny when I hear about these "Death to America!" types using American products. Weapons I can understand - sometimes field procurement or using old stuff like Iran does is the only option, and for better or worse we're good at making stuff that kills. I mean more mundane things like the Lincolns in Dear Leader's funeral, or the rumors that he liked American movies like the Rambo series. I think I once saw a picture of OBL himself with a Pepsi next to him!

Didn't Clarkson do a mini review of the truck to it's right during the Vietnam episode of motorworld??...

How true. I think the very same thing. Din't they find some American porn in Osama bin Laden's place too? Now that's really funny and ironic. He hate's America and women and is supposed to be this hardcore holy type and then that! And drinking a Pepsi to boot!

Now Kim Jong gets laid to rest riding atop a giant 70s Lincoln. You just can't make this stuff up!

But of course the DPRK leadership isn't "really" anti-America or anti-West. But they need an enemy to support the "military-first" (Son gun) policy that keeps them in power. All dictators need a "big enemy" to solidfy support at home (see: Iran, Iraq, USSR, Cuba, Venzuela, etc).

Kim Il Sung was a true "revolutionary" but KJI always loved his exotic european cars, Cognac, epic western movies, Liz Taylor, and western sports. He was a hypocrite, like most communist leaders. He loved the west but hated the fact that the West wanted him out of power....

And I really gotta hand it to these totalitarian dictators who think they have all the answers....when your country DESIGNS and builds it's own cars and airplanes, THEN you are no longer a 3rd world country. Until then? You are a failed/failing economy. (just my opinion.)

Did you want to break the news to the Canadians that they are a failed third world economy?

As a joint British-French-American colony, Canada isn't required to build their own cars. Just to use snow tires.

Y'all better speak nicely about us Canadians or we'll trigger the hidden cut-off switch inside every Crown Vic and Impala we ever built.

good, that should take care of 95% of the police radar traps in this county, and I can drive faster!

I hear you, but don't forget that there's cabs out there as well as county mounties. We really don't want to use The Switch (and, if we do, you know we'll apologize, eh?)

    In reply to Stealthtercel:

    "Throw 'The Switch', guy!"

Canada doesn't need it's own auto or aerospace industries when it has an F1 track(first place I ever drank in public) and smash hit YouTube personalities such as EpicMealTime and Davidsfarm. Viva la Canada!
