How do I tell what size seat I will need? Kirkey 20 deg layback seat with black cover #36300 15" for sale for $75 on the local autocross board. I am 6'3" and 215lbs.

Put two boards vertical on the floor 15" apart. See if you can sit in-between them.

If you're a thin 215, you might fit. If not, don't bother.

There are various walk-throughs on measuring yourself so you can pick a seat. http://www.stockcarproducts.com/seats3.htm - that was the first one google bestowed upon me this morning.

I'm 6'1" and 215. I had a 17" Ultra Shield. I could have gotten into a 16, but it would have been really tight with the Nomex on. I suspect that the guy selling the 15" just bought a 16".
Kate Moss uses a 15".

I add to all the above .... I'm 6' and 195 ... a 16 would work (I use a 17 intermediate )... I have a 15 passenger seat ... I've ridden there .... it wasn't much fun
