Mazda Motorsports has GT-2 RX-7 body skin sets in fiberglass or carbon fiber. A bit over $10k plus shipping for the carbon fiber.

how about a composite replica of a checker? Those bodies were stamped from 20ga sheet and weighed damn near 2 tons.
That way you could trim it into a 2 door to cut out the extra 2 feet of wheelbase that you would no longer need.
