I spoke with a man who owned one of these beasties.
He said absolutely nothing interchanges, he even has to import oil filters. I didn't ask how he registered it, but he did offer that the license plates on the car were actually for that vehicle.
And later I met a guy with an Escort Cosworth. He was driving it to Summit (the speed shop) to exchange some stuff. That car was sick as well 
And not a street car, actual rally car with the rally car bits.
I see a lot of unusual vehicles here in Bumfark, Ohio.
