Buy it. If she gets mad then tell her that you are the man of the house and you know whats best, then remind her that you make most of the money anyways, that should calm her down.

Trust me, I'm 22 and unmarried but I'm pretty sure I know how the world works. LOL

    Voted up.

I nominate this for "Say What".

What about for every dollar amount you spend on a project car, you budget 10% of the purchase cost to get her something nice too? That way there's incentive for her when you to get more expensive project cars!

Funny, My wife thinks that for every $.10 of challenge budget I need to spend $1.00 on her.

Here's a great shop tip: Look outside once in a while. There are Lots more women out there , than good project cars!

Remind her what you could be doing with your time and cash!

After watching " Who wants to be a millionare" I snuggled up to the squeeze and said lets do it. " not now ' she answered..... Final answer? "yes , final answer" so I told her I was going to use my phone a friend!

( always works, every time !)

Well my wife is getting a new Laptop this weekend (picks it up today) so she said I could look at / go after the miata that was local.

I get there, it is a green 1992 with tan leather interior, the body is in great shape, and it even has a hardtop. (resell that to the Spec Miata racers).

Things look good, but then I get in it, I put my feet in and I am like "wait a second, where is the cluthc pedal"?

    Its a berkeleying automatic......

Just my luck, I passed on the car...
