    i think it was a Renault built project, as you can see their "current" F1 car in the pic above

    Oh hell yes!

    I love cars from the 50s, 60s and 70s that some would tag "homely". Which to me are interesting cars which beg to be made sleepers. The only thing wrong with that build is the fuel cell cutting down on baguette storage.

    And what motor/tranny is that?

    That's not gonna understeer...

    I'm guessing the CIS fuel distributor is from a big old MB V8.

    from what i read, a R5 Turbo engine was used...

    probably right as it looks like it has 8 ports, 4 of which are plugged.
