A friend of mine just got an 03 20th Anniversary GTI and he wants to lower it some more. Does the F up the suspension geometry issue include these as does other mk4 VW's?

Yes. The suspension on the 20AE is already f'd because it's lowered from the factory. The front suspension doesn't tolerate lowering more than half an inch without camber plates or spindles from an Audi TT.

vwvortex's MkIV forum has extensive threads on suspension geometry - the consensus seems to be for best handling to raise the front half an inch (affects roll center) and lower the rear an inch for weight transfer.

    Umm

My friend's car with his old bike. I'm thinking it's not the best setup for handling.
