    Yeah, and you can get some of the AFR's and slap them on the LS. There is only a couple Thousandths off of being a perfect swap.

    Sorry for bringing up the ancient threads...

    But this reminds me of something I said to some people i work with when we started really working with the Gen III motors.

    "Oh, looks like GM finally got around to perfecting the 351 Cleveland."

    FWIW - the guys at work are all dyed-in-the-wool GM fanatics, and I'm a Ford guy, and like to rub it in when I can

    Yea, you can, but why would you when you can get good aftermarket 302 heads? If it saved a dollar, maybe, but it is not a grassroots powermaker.
