I'll be running my k1200s....Ohio is a good bit closer for me than Maxton. Can't wait!

Wish I had something to run there...oh well, will be fun to watch too. Has anyone ever worked an event like this? Without corners to work, Im wondering if theres any other way for a poor newb to get involved.

Anyone going to the final event at Maxton? I'm trying to get a car ready, but it doesn't look promising, but I'll probably be there as a spectator. They are always looking for assistance on Fridays cleaning the track and helping out. My favorite spot is the checkpoint at the far end of the track. You get to see all the cars and watch some go by at over 200 mph. Very cool. http://www.ecta-lsr.com/ On a sidenote, aren't the runways formerly used by the space shuttle available? Seems like that would be a great place to hold some land speed races.
