I'm running 10.5.8, and my laptop has started talking to me. It speaks commands when I open windows, enter search fields, and, for instance, change volume. Bothersome, to say the least. All the 'speech' items in System Preferences pertain to speech commands, which is to say, me speaking commands to the computer. I have tried yelling 'shut up already!' which doesn't seem to work.
Advice?
