After two days of racing and nearly 30 hours of driving the car and its tow vehicle, our Yellow Miata–built specifically for racing on the cheap–is home from its outing at Barber Motorsports Park.

How'd we do? Not bad at all. We ended the race in 11th place, despite spending most of the weekend in the top five. We're thrilled to have finished that high in a field of 76 cars.

Thanks to our sponsors; without them this wouldn't be possible:

24 Hours of LeMons
Autosport Labs
Balanced Performance
EFS Combust
Moss Miata
MPT Industries
Red Line Synthetic Oil
SPA Technique
Treasure Coast Miata
Very Cool Parts
Konig Wheels

The #59 Studebaker in your photo is awesome. I'd love to race that.

The Stude is from Team NSF. You can find build pictures on their page on the Book of Face.

Congrats to Team GRM on the 11th place! Barber had a tough field this year.

What a beautiful red truck in the first picture. Wonder who the lucky bastard is who owns such fine engineering.... It was great to race with you guys, congrats on the finish. Crappy '80's carb technology combined with a E36 M3 "professional" rebuild of same did us in for good on Sunday. But we'll be back... with a new Weber... for the Mitty.

Oh, and the Studie won IOE, the biggest LeMons award.
