In honor of this thread, I just went on ebay and got an 8" vinyl Martini decal which will go on the hood of the e30 rallycrosser. Most likely crooked.And it will look damn good there.
8 inches? What is it, a decal for ants? It needs to be at least 3 times bigger than that.

This is for the "budget" rallycrosser. $5 is the budget for stickers!
This kind has appeal also.

I had been wondering why the H3 had the stripe down the middle instead of along the fenders like every other Martini & Rossi paint scheme I'd seen - guess he was trying to copy that Lada.
Porsche used to run one down the middle. It's the easy way out - you don't have to deal with complex shapes. So it's the popular one to copy
