I know the magazine did a comparison of catalytic converters for miatas, I've either lossed or tossed that issue. If anyone has it by, did any of the units tested provide a significant gain over the other. I'm inclined to buy the magnaflow as it is around a hundred. Any help would be appreciated.

As I recall the best few were all close enough to be considered statistical noise. FWIW, I went with the magnaflow and it fit perfect, no complaints. And last I checked it can be had for significantly less than $100.

By my recollection, none provided a signifcant gain even over the test pipe, but the high flows emitted something like 5x the noxious gasses over the stocker, and the test pipe emitted something like 20x the noxious gasses.

I alsw was expecting to see a cat "driving" a miata in this thread. I am dissapointed.
