Well, the Miata is completely disassembled, and the scrapper is going to pick up the tub tonight. On to the second stage of the rebuild, cleaning the parts, and getting ready for reassembly.

    Once looked like this:Photobucket

    Now looks like this: Photobucket

It will look good again soon!

    What're your plans?

Also, were you attempting a submarine run in that first picture? What's up with the boat ramp?

I'm rebodying the car with a rust free ninety four tub. That pic was a joke picture I took as part of a set I called 'miatas at the watering hole'

Been there recently, too. Scrapper picked up my '90 tub on Monday. Neighborhood jerk called code enforcement, accelerating my Miata stripping plans greatly. . .

But, I have a garage full of Miatas and parts. . .

How about a rear bumper? I don't care how scratched or scuffed it is, I'm just going to paint it white. Or a nice Mariner blue one... I have a rear bumper to use for the project, but it's a very nice BRG, and I hate to paint it white.
