NA vs NB, Forced-Induction, vs Naturally Aspirated, Brute Force vs Finesse

This was super fun, albeit extremely nerve-wracking, to watch them film. They were just inches away from each other at times. In the car that I had to drive 3 hours home in. But, both Quinn and Ryan are pretty skilled drivers and have been driving alongside each other for a while, so they can trust each other on track.
The cars ended up extremely close-matched. My car was much faster on the straights, but Quinn's NB has a much more dialed-in chassis that allowed him to make it up in the corners.

Do they film all of these without helmets?

Yes. If you read the Youtube comments they answer that question of why they don't multiple times. It's basically a thing where Lime Rock doesn't require them, there is miles of runoff and no obstacles to hit, their rules to the Lap Battles include no passing or side-by-side corner entries, and wearing a helmet increases vocal audio pickup issues.

Yeah, I know that's a dangerous place. And I was surprised at lack of helmets as well, but it's their show and they are accepting the risk. Also, speeds were relatively low, as in my Miata was the fastest of the bunch and was hitting 63mph tops. You have Matt Farah hitting speeds of 80-130mph in some of his videos, on public roads no less, without any safety gear whatsoever, for example. They also broke up the straights with cone chicanes to keep the speeds down
